Johanna Ramsey as: Ella Grace Reinhardt

  • Johanna Ramsey, at 15, is presently living at home with her parents and six siblings in rural East Texas. She is a gentle spirited young woman with a beautiful singing voice, a passion for acting, and a deep heart for God. She has been in a few small plays but "The Photographer: How The Rain Falls" is her big screen debut.

Stan Foy as: Heinrich Berenger Reinhardt

  • For Stan Foy the chance to act in a film project was an unexpected fulfillment of one of his unspoken dreams. He is a gifted and gracious counselor and resides with his beautiful wife, Debbie, in Mt. Vernon, TX. "The Photographer: How The Rain Falls" was his first film.

Frank Randalls

Calvin Rowe as: Frank Randalls

  • Calvin Rowe in an immensely talented actor whose role in "The Photograper: How The Rain Falls" transformed his character and added an important missing dynamic to the film. He recently graduated from Belhaven College in Jackson, MI and is now working at a theater in Baton Rouge, LA.

Lydia Aston

Emma Ramsey as: Lydia Aston

  • At 17, Emma Ramsey has written countless poems and songs and is at work on a novel. She has a passion for writing and sharing God's truth in subtle, yet beautiful ways. "The Photographer: How The Rain Falls" is her first attempt at screenwriting. She has experience acting in a few plays but this is her first appearance on screen.

Patrick Milton

Brent Bellamy as: Patrick Milton

  • Brent Bellamy lives in Bend Oregon. He has a passion and inquisitiveness about the inner workings of foreign cultures and has been all over the world in places such as Australia, South America and Africa. He is at present visiting Israel. His contributions to "The Photographer: How The Rain Falls" with his fire breathing skills and sense of adventure, brought much to the end product of this film.

Marie Kleid

Sarah Anne Ramsey as: Marie Kleid

Sarah Anne has been described as a “natural” actress. And though she has starred in one other film, her debut in “The Photographer, How the Rain Falls,” has even more proved her ability. She is an immensely talented, sparkling, and precocious seven year old. She lives with her parents and six siblings in Winnsboro, TX.

The Chief

Dave Bellamy as: Chief Eddie Milton

David Bellamy manages a Dallas, TX based cabinet manufacturer and has a beautiful wife, four daughters, and a son. David’s support and willingness in this project were a blessing unhoped for. This is his acting debut.

Amani Fasano

Wesley Buckler as: Amani Fasano

Wes, 23, was cast on an instant’s notice, and though rather sudden, in his first on-screen role, he delivered. His honest, realistic, and simple portrayal of his character only mirrors his own personality. He is a Godly young man with an open mind and a willingness to work hard.

Joe Scalise

Tom Hellbach as: Joe Scalise

Tom, 28, is a willing and hard-working actor whose comic abilities brought life to his role. Though this is his first experience with acting, the humor he incorporated into this film added immensely and the end product would not have been the same without him. Tom lives in East Texas with his wife and son.

 Bartender

Scott State as: The Bartender

Scott, with his burly mustache and brusque demeanor, fit perfectly into the part of the speakeasy bartender. In the moment he said his single line, he brought a new aspect and reality to his character. He has appeared in a small number of plays, but this is his first time on screen. He lives in Sulphur Springs, TX, with his lovely wife, Shirlee.

Hotel Manager

Scarecrow Willis as: The Hotel Manager

Scarecrow’s donation of the use of his car and his freely given time were an unexpected blessing. His suggestions and openness to whatever the director needed were irreplaceable and it was through his connections that the film’s explosion came to be. “The Photographer, How the Rain Falls,” is his film debut.

Dr. Hammond

James W. Ramsey as: Dr. Hammond

James, 20, with his mechanical knowledge and creative engineering skills, took the seemingly impossible job of restoring the 1926 Chevy Sedan and made it's antiquated engine run and keep running throughout the filming process. In addition, he willingly took on the role of Dr. Hammond and with his cool, clear style of acting, made his character, though only on the screen for a moment, come to life.

The Butler

Ronnie Rudd as: Reinhardt's Butler

Though he is seen for but a moment and then only his hands and mouth, it was Ronnie's alacrity when he was most needed, and his readiness to play the part, that made his character meld so well with the rest of the film. This is his first screen appearance.
